It’s sometimes easy for us to make a difference. Ian’s existing website, coupled with the exterior design of his showroom/workshop, instantly positioned him as a supplier of ‘cheap kitchens’. Not that there’s any problem with that, other than his bespoke kitchen company doesn’t sell cheap kitchens, and that’s obvious once you walk through the doors of his showroom.
So this was a mostly a ‘repositioning’ job, making Ian’s identity and website match his business proposition. We started by understanding his business, spending an afternoon with him in both showroom and factory, then after further research on his marketplace, we created a selection of logos and site designs that suited Ian’s business, both now and in the future.
The new site has had a profound effect. There’s minimal expectation of ‘budget kitchens’ from customers, and the customers attracted are matched to the products Ian sells. This in turn means that the client isn’t trying to meet lower budgets, and has more scope to up sell with more creative kitchen designs.
